Affordable Hawaii Hotel Deals With Room Upgrades

August 31, 2009 by admin

Traveling to Hawaii has never been more affordable. Hawaii hotel deals include free upgrades in room accommodations. Hawaii has seen a huge drop in reservations and now offers specials when you book a guest room. Many hotels on the Hawaiian island of Kauai are offering specials to attract tourism to the area. The Hanatei Colony Resort is a prefect getaway location with a beautiful beachfront to relax in the sun and see the natural beauty of the area. The resort offers a special package for two people for five nights and a vehicle rental, room, touring package and a snorkeling package for well under two thousand dollars during the off-season.

If you travel to many of the Hawaiian Islands, you will find that during the off-season, the prices for accommodations, fun packages and car rentals will be cheaper and more affordable than if you travel during peak season. With the decline in tourism in Hawaii over the last year, the area hotels are offering even more discounts to attract tourist to the area. By teaming with airlines such as Aloha Airlines and American Airlines, the hotels can offer more affordable package deals that will include everything you need to travel to Hawaii.

The Waikiki, Ohana Islander has many special Hawaii hotel deals to attract everyone from children to seniors. They offer discounts for seniors and fun activities for children. They have incentive programs that include checking in and receiving a discount at the time of arrival. The hotel also has specials throughout the year including the Simple Saver program that has lower rates for rooms that are empty and available. At some times, the hotel also has instant savings cards that you can scratch off at check in to receive a gift or a dinner. If you enter your room and find an Ohana doll, you will receive a bonus prize from the hotel.

Many times, depending on the year and the occupancy of the hotel you can receive discounts on room rates because the hotel has not booked to capacity and lowers the rates. This is a risky way to plan a vacation, but if you have the time and the patients to wait for a good deal, this would be a way to book your room and travel to Hawaii. Hawaii hotel deals that are offered by the hotel themselves are always going to be more affordable when you book directly.

The one thing you need to remember when booking your reservation for a Hawaii hotel is that you need to talk to the hotel directly. Calling the 800 number may not connect you to the hotel itself. Most 800 operators cannot offer the best deals where as talking with the hotel staff directly can offer you more options than an operator. They may have incentives to book early, discounts for disabled, senior discounts and other special offers that are not relayed to the 800 number operators. This is something to keep in mind when booking on the phone more than it is for the Internet booking sites.

All inclusive resorts have been around for almost 50 years but only recently has the inclusive theme has gained in popularity. The Caribbean vacations inclusive plans of today are a striking difference to what was available even 20 years ago. Inclusive vacations have become so popular, that most hotels now offer at least some all inclusive features. However, due to the sheer number of resort operators, inclusive packages vary widely by resort, so obviously it pays to do your homework first.  Typically resorts having a higher upfront cost, will mean more inclusive features for the traveler, but be sure to read all the fine print.

Today’s internet savvy travelers enjoy the ease of planning, and the exceptional value these all inclusive resorts offer. Caribbean vacation inclusive packages allow people to plan and budget ahead of time. Save time… Book Online!

Planning Caribbean vacations inclusive packages has never been easier. Travelers can book online with just a click of the mouse, by going to the resorts website.  Airfare can be included as well wrapping the whole package into one upfront cost. Today with the availability of websites like tripadvisor.com, the majority of travelers are booking online instead of with a travel agent, since many are just looking for the best price, and have already done their research.

The booking process is even easier by maintaining price parity among all their travel agents, so no matter which company you choose to book with, the price will always be the same. Just another reason Beaches Resorts makes planning vacation inclusive packages a breeze.

Tips to Using Travel Vouchers

August 31, 2009 by admin

Through the use of a travel voucher, you can save up a lot of money. Making a habit of using them can save you up to several thousands of dollars in vacation expenses. The good news is that you can get access to these vouchers if you know the tricks.

One way of getting practically unlimited chances to getting travel vouchers is by joining a travel membership club. These organizations often allow its members to download the vouchers. Redeeming the vouchers may incur some cost so use them properly in order to get a discount. Make sure that you read the process carefully and read the fine print because the costs are normally indicated on the voucher itself.

Some of the costs that you should expect to encounter when using these downloaded vouchers is a redemption fee that will give you access to a travel reservation as well as taxes. Aside from these, you also need to pay for accommodations and airport charges.

These payments are usually much less than what you would pay for a vacation you book through a travel agency. To further reduce the expenses, you can opt to travel with another person in order to be able to split some of the expenses.

One thing that you need to know about discount travel vouchers is that they do require some measure of flexibility. The reason why they are offered at cheaper rates is because travel companies would rather have someone occupy the slot instead of having an empty space. Thus, most of the trips that you take under this arrangement may have to travel at the last minute.

When looking to purchase travel vouchers for sale, check to see when you are allowed to use them. There may be dates that are blocked off for the voucher. In addition to this, find out if the voucher is made out for a specific person. If it is, then you may not be able to use or give them to others.

There are different kinds of vouchers for sale. Whether you are looking at cruise vouchers or international trip vouchers, explore your options to get a vacation at a fraction of the cost.

So Where’s The Cheap Fuel Hiding?

August 31, 2009 by admin

Ask a driver virtually anywhere in the world, what they think of fuel prices, and the answer will almost always be the same; “they’re too expensive”. While there is a global price set by the cost of crude oil, which seems to be on the rise most of the time, the range of prices across the world is quite surprising. We may complain that our petrol, LPG and diesel prices are too expensive here in Australia, there are indeed many places that pay far more than us, making it incredibly hard to own a car, and there are also some that pay very little, making them ideal destinations for driving holidays and road trips.

Here in Australia, the price of petrol on average seems to vary roughly between $1.20 and $1.70 AUD per litre, changing quite frequently. And while we do complain, it’s not too bad at all really, considering the price paid by some other countries. In many EU countries fuel is around the €1.70 to €2.00 Euro per litre mark, which works out at around $2.80 to $3.50 AUD, or roughly double what we pay for petrol here.

Although if we look at prices across the whole world, even EU countries with the highest fuel costs don’t come close to some, with the winner for dearest fuel being Sierra Leone, where motorists pay 14,400 Leones, or $5.70 AUD, per litre!

Now at the other end of the scale, we find some countries where the government has taken a different approach.  Here, rather than adding high levels of tax to fuel and profiteering off motorists, the governments subsidise the cost of petrol, effectively making it far cheaper than the global standard. It’s no surprise to find many of these countries in the middle east, where much oil has come from over the years, and indeed Saudi Arabia at $0.14 AUD and Kuwait at $0.25 AUD per litre are among countries with unbelievable petrol costs.

While not the most popular destinations for travel, nearby Egypt also has ultra cheap petrol, at $0.38 AUD per litre, something many travellers don’t realise. Perhaps many more would do a self drive holiday if they did!

Across the globe though, we find the country which seems to have the cheapest petrol in the world, Venezuela. At roughly $0.05 AUD per litre, you could fill 25 to 30 cars’ tanks there for the same price as filling one car’s tank here. Quite the bargain really! While they will no doubt end up with way too many cars on the road, and not to mention terrific levels of smog and pollution, for now it’s all swell, and an unbeatable place for a self drive holiday.

Some Important Things to Look for in NJ Limousine Companies

August 30, 2009 by admin

The most important thing to look into when looking for great NJ limousine companies is their history with other clients. You can find all kinds of useful information online which details other people’s experience with different NJ limousine companies. This information will let you know if people are having predominantly good experiences or predominantly bad experiences. One thing to be careful with on this type of research is comparing bad to good. Remember, any company is bound to have at least a few dissatisfied clients because some people are nearly impossible to please. You must also remember that an unsatisfied customer is at least 10 times more likely to complain than a satisfied customer is to praise. This means that companies may have more complaints than praises and still be a great company.

Price may seem like a big deciding factor but that’s not always the case. There are situations where a great company may offer a great service at a very reasonable price. There are also situations where a company which offers only minimal service or even poor service may ask a lot of money. In fact, some poor companies utilize the tactic of charging more because it frequently gives people a false sense of security in the company’s performance. As a general rule you will get the most services for the money you spend in the mid-range. The highest priced services often offer more than middle or low priced services but usually they charge a lot more for what they do offer. In the end each person’s ability to afford a specific company will affect their choice to a certain degree but remember that buying the most expensive rarely gets you the most for every dollar you spend.

Find out about as much as possible about the company’s safety record. Many companies will share their hiring standards openly, especially if they are extremely stringent. Look for companies which require their drivers to have a clean driving record for at least 5 years and that have no prior convictions for criminal offenses. Also look into the company’s safety history. Find out how many accidents have been claimed by the company over the past few years. A company which shows a higher than average number may be employing poorer quality drivers.

There is no denying that taking a NJ limousine is one of the best options you have for going to and from the airport or even for getting around town periodically. Just remember that when you take NJ limousine, like any other situation where you are not driving, you are putting your trust in the driver. Make sure that you know that the driver that is going to be driving your limousine is well trained, experienced and safe. Also make sure that you look into the different cost options to make sure that you are getting the most out of every dollar that you spend. It is also never a bad idea to investigate other peoples past experiences with a specific company so you know if the company has had a track record of happy customers or unhappy customers.

Learn more about reliable NJ limousines for all your transportation needs in New Jersey. Get fast, free competitive quotes from qualified limo service providers, compare and save.

How to save money when you hire a car

Normally when you hire a car the vehicle will come with a full tank of fuel. Under the hire agreement in most cases you will find that you have to return the car with a full tank or the car hire company will re-fuel the vehicle, but will usually make an administrative charge for doing this.

This of course is understandable as it is going to take time taking the car to a petrol filling station, even if it is only a hundred metres away from their car hire depot.

If the car has been returned full it can be efficiently checked over, cleaned and be ready for the next customer and with shortages of car hire vehicles in July and August 2009 in many parts of Europe this has been most important.

There are a few car hire companies that actually encourage a renter to return the car empty, so they can automatically charge the customer an administration fee.

So always check the situation out when you are signing up the car hire documentation at the check in desk and then you can save money.

When you do fill up with petrol or diesel, remember to keep the receipt so you can show it to the car hire return check in staff if asked. There have been cases whereby renters have added water to make the tank full, or bought diesel instead of unleaded petrol. The majority of rental vehicles have stickers on the outside of the fuel cap area and inside the area as well.

Another way to save money when renting a hire car is to buy your car hire excess insurance from a specialist insurance provider. Their daily policies are normally a lot cheaper than those provided as an additional cost onto the car rental by the car hire company. The reason is fairly straightforward they add a higher profit margin on. The website www.insurance4carrental.com acts as an introducer advertising service for a couple of providers and you can buy daily car hire excess policies or an even better idea is the annual policy.
